Getting ready to head off to college for fall semester is easily one of the most exciting feelings in your  lifetime.

I know some college freshmen are anxious to head off in the next month. You may be going miles and miles away from your family and friends, or you may be heading around the corner like I did. Either way, college is a big change.

At first, if you’re anything like me, you might get lost (it gets better, I promise). You will probably ask a random stranger how to get to a specific lecture hall, and if your first day goes like mine did, they may not know either–oops! When you finally do make it to class, hear what that professor has to say, and then before you know it, book it to your next class.

It might be a lot to take in. I honestly think each college semester has proven true to be the fastest four months of my life. However, I promise you that you will end up meeting some awesome people that turn into forever friends. You will meet professors that change your life and give the best advice (other than your mom). You will have some really fun nights that turn into mornings. You will learn new things about yourself every day. You will grow up and change lives during and after your time at a college university.

To sum it up, you will have some of the best years of your life on a college campus.

My fave must haves…

I have compiled some of my fave back to school finds that can only add to the amazing experience ahead.

Some days are just wear your pajamas to class kind of days. Those are the post up all nighters, full box of pizza for yourself kind of nights. For all the rest, I suggest adding a little pep to your step to face the day with more boldness. Take the extra few minutes to get dressed, put on an accessory and a little makeup. Not for anyone else but yourself as this just helps you get going and in the right frame of mind to absorb the umpteen facts ahead.

Have you ever gotten in a little fight with your curling iron or straightener? Yeah–no fun! They always seem to be in the way when you are getting ready.
