{waiting in hope}

vanessa marino

About our guest blogger: I am passionate about being a mommy to my little princess Alana, so full of light. I have a willingness to overcome and am determined to follow Jesus. I currently work as a health educator with a desire to grow in the field of nutrition. I love coffee and eating Vegan. When I am not busy working, I am spending time loving on my daughter and doing some amazing yoga moves. Alana is my main focus to being better than ever with the help of Jesus.

“I wait for the LORD, my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.” Psalm 130:5

It may feel like nothing ever gets better.

You take a step forward and the enemy comes rushing through, full force, to steal, kill, and destroy your happiness-your progress.

It may feel like what you are working so hard towards always leaves you at a dead end.

Don’t lose hope.

Hope feels impossible, I know, but hope also felt impossible for the disciples on the boat, that night in fear of the winds and waves. Hope seemed lost for the father whose young daughter died waiting for Jesus. Until Jesus came, hope was restored and she was raised to life. What had been lost was replaced with even greater power–faith in Jesus Christ. Hope can come from hopelessness, often times in the hoping moments of circumstances that waiver our beliefs and try our faith. But that’s exactly it!

You are being tested.

How much do you really love the Lord and Savior?

How much is your heart set on him who heals and mends?

What feels like the end of your world is the beginning of the Lord’s planned world in your life. Embrace it and know that it is heaven sent. God is working for you and through you to strengthen your faith and hope in Him. Sometimes hope needs to be shaken a bit to make sure it is really there. Sometimes hope needs to be completely planted in your life. Whatever you are going through, be confident in the Lord and know that He will see you through it because he brought you to it for a purpose. Let me remind you that Jesus already conquered the problems at had-so rest in knowing that the battle has been won! Your job is to live in peace and wait in hope…..

      I’m so proud of my beautiful niece, Vanessa, and of the work that The Lord, is manifesting in her life. Yvie Marie Cano, none of this would have been possible, without your selfless love and kindnesses, that you’ve sown into Vanessa’s life. Above all, I thank God for redeeming Vanessa! To say that I’m a proud uncle; would be an understatement! Thank you JESUS! 🙌🏽

    Wow! Nessa this post is truly beautiful, and inspiring. It’s so true, without hope life is meaningless, that’s why there are so many suicides, those people lost hope.
    I always taught; “If there is no will, there is no way. If there is a will, then there is a way. You can replace the word will with hope. With God all things are possible. God tells us to lay on burdens on him, and not to worry. Anxiety is a tool used by Satan to rob us of the joy of hope. I’m so proud of you Nessa, Beauty, Brains, and God’s Scripture makes you unstoppable in any endeavor you choose.
    We are not blood, but the love is real. You will always be my niece <3 Tio John
